Roland Moroder: Art exhibition
 Roland Moroder's art exhibition. From 7th to 18th December 2005 we presented the exhibition of an artist called Roland Moroder in the cellar of the previous "Jubiläumskellerei". The exhibition was opened on Wednesday, 7th December 2005 at 7 p.m. with an introduction by Dr. Arnold von Stefenelli, Vice-Mayor of Kaltern. Guests of honour were Dr. Florian Mussner, Councillor for buildings, ladin culture and education, as well as Wilfried Battisti Matscher, Mayor of Kaltern. The 54 large-sized oil-paintings, water-colour and ink drawings together with hundreds of wooden barrels contributed to make the atmosphere in the spacious cellar vaults unique. The arstist Roland Moroder was born in 1948 in St. Ulrich in Gröden. He's been dedicating himself to painting since he was 15, when he started in his father's workshop. In the meantime Roland Moroder has built up a reputation for his frescoes in South Tyrol and abroad. |
