The Pfarrhof vineyard is a small estate right on the lake. 4,5 hectares lie in the very heart of the cultivation area by Lake Kaltern, on wonderful south-eastern slopes with vines aged up to 80 years. Cabernet Sauvignon is mainly grown here.

»Ad lacum - also the ancient Romans knew where it is worth to settle. On the mediterranean-like vineyards around Lake Kaltern the best grapes have always matured. Pieces of broken glass and amphorae dating back to the second century can prove this. Good estates remain good estates. We have always been the first to start vintage in Kaltern. For years I myself have helped with the grape gathering on our Pfarrhof vineyards.
