New results from the latest wine guides and tastings are in, bringing excellent ratings for our wines. From the Faccino and 5 Grappoli to gold medals and high scores, the list of accolades received so far continues to grow.
With the arrival of autumn, new results from wine guides, competitions and international tastings are traditionally announced. Several of our wines have made a strong impression – from the latest vintages of our white wines to mature reds from the Quintessenz line.
A particular highlight comes from DoctorWine: our Quintessenz Sauvignon 2024 receives 95 points and the Faccino, the guide’s highest distinction. The Quintessenz Kalterersee Classico Superiore 2025 also earns an excellent 93 points.
Another top distinction goes to a wine that will not be released until November: the kunst.stück Cabernet-Merlot Riserva 2022 receives the prestigious 5 Grappoli from Bibenda, the wine guide published by the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier. This is the highest rating awarded by the guide.
There is also good news from the international wine competition MUNDUS VINI: our Stern Sauvignon 2025, one of our bestsellers for many years, has been awarded a Gold Medal.
Three more Gold awards come from The WineHunter Award: the Quintessenz Chardonnay 2023, Quintessenz Pinot Bianco 2023 and Quintessenz Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva 2022 all receive Gold.
Further strong ratings come from American wine critic Kerin O’Keefe, who has specialised in Italian wine for many years. From 2013 to 2022, she was Italian Editor at Wine Enthusiast; today, she publishes independent wine reviews and articles on her own platform. Leading her latest ratings is our Quintessenz Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva 2022 with 94 points. The Vial Pinot Bianco 2025, Quintessenz Chardonnay 2023 and Quintessenz Kalterersee Classico Superiore 2024 follow with 93 points each, while the Soll Pinot Grigio 2025 and Stern Sauvignon 2025 both receive 92 points.
