Cantina Kaltern is a historic cooperative that has represented an entire village and its winegrowers for over 125 years. Its 420 hectares of vineyards are cultivated by 530 winegrowing families. The vineyards are primarily located around Lake Kaltern and at the foot of the impressive Mendola mountain range. Thanks to the diverse microclimates and altitudes ranging from 250 to 750 meters above sea level, a wide variety of grape varieties thrive in Caldaro – each in its ideal location. This is how a community of vintners produces wines with sensitivity, passion, and expertise: wines of finesse and complexity, yet wonderfully approachable.
