The Italian wine guide "Vini buoni d'Italia" is unique both nationally and internationally: it only rates autochthonous wines. In the case of the Alto Adige these are: Gewürztraminer, Vernatsch, Lagrein and Moscato Giallo. The highest award of this renowned wine guide is the "Corona" (crown) - and exactly this honour was bestowed on our Leuchtenberg Kalterersee Classico Superiore 2019. The Leuchtenberg is made from Schiava grapes and belongs to the traditional Schiava wines: light, fruity and very elegant.
If you like full-bodied Schiava wines, the Quintessenz Kalterersee is the right choice. The kunst.stück Kalterersee 2016, on the other hand, is an absolute top wine with international recognition in the form of 93 Parker points.
