The Veronelli Wine Guide has been the first of its pair ever published in Italy.
Luigi Veronelli was a wine journalist, he travelled far and wide Italy in the 70s, tasting and evaluating wines, helping Italians to discover their oenological's patrimony. When he passed away it was Gigi Brozzoni who took the reins of the Veronelli Seminary along with the guide which is still, as today, an incomparable reference. This year as much as 16.000 wines were tasted.
Of these, only 350 were rewarded of 94/100 or more points. Among them our Cantina Kaltern Passito Serenade 2013 who also received a special mention given only to wines scoring more than 94 points: the "Super Tre Stelle" . Another award to add to the long list of accolades making Serenade one of the most awarded sweet wines of Italy.
